As an Embedded System Test Coordinator for Safety System (such as: ABS/ESP/iBooster), your main responsibilities are:
- Embedded System Test Coordinator (Test Project Responsible) is responsible for multi-automotive projects with experience in vehicle safety system
- Define and maintain project’s test strategy based on organizational test strategy (considering project specific requirements and tailoring of test activities)
- Define and maintain project’s test plan (content, scheduling and resources)
- Define test activities and assign to the test designer of the project team
- Check that testing is going hand-in-hand with the software development in all phases
- Coach project-members regarding quality aspects of engineering processes
- Requirement clarification and analysis
- Develop test cases using defined test methods, create high level test designs and test specifications
- Select relevancy of test case for regression testing.
- Execute test cases, document results and report problems
- Task effort estimation
- Set up review of test specifications.
- Set up test environment: SIL (Software in Loop) & HIL( Hardware in Loop)
- Develop test automation.
- Solve technical problems/queries
- Communicate findings to both technical and non- technical colleagues in order to prevent technical problems/queries.
- Mentor junior members
- Planning and tracking tasks
Qualifications
- Major in Computer Engineering/Information Technology/ Electrical-Electronics/ Electronics-Telecommunication/Mechatronics Engineering/Automotive or related fields
- Have 3-8 years of experience in Software Testing
- Good at 1 of following programming language: C/C++/Python/VBA/Perl scripting language, API programming
- Good Knowledge of micro-controller and embedded system
- Experience in Software Development Lifecycle
- Experience in emulators, simulators, debugging and test equipment
- Self-driven and strong inter-personal skills
- Good teamwork, time management, stakeholders management, decision-making skills
- Good at team engagement, motivation and competency build-up
- Good English language skills (Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing)
- It would be BIG advantage if you have:
- Automotive domain knowledge
- Holding experience at team management, handling team size from 3 to 5 members
- Exposure to emulators, simulators, debugging
- Exposure Automotive communication protocols e.g. CAN/LIN/Flexray/Ethernet and AUTOSAR architecture
- ISTQB certificate
